Federal
Bureau of Investigation Fingerprint Processing Fee Modification
Effective October 1, 2007, there will be a modification
to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Fingerprint Processing Fee. ·
The rate
that will be charged for manual civil fingerprint submissions will increase from
$24.00 to $30.25 ·
In order
to address the FBI’s October 1, 2007 effective date, DCJS will require
submission of the new FBI fee for manual transactions received by DCJS after September
1, 2007. After that date, all
manual civil fingerprint submissions that are not accompanied by the new FBI
processing fee will be rejected by DCJS. ·
In order
for the RWB to meet the September 1, 2007 deadline required by DCJS, the new FBI
fee will apply to any FBI fingerprint card submitted at a RWB track office
after August 16, 2007. ·
The new
FBI fee will apply to any FBI fingerprint card submitted submitted to the Board’s
Main Office in Schenectady after August
31, 2007.
The
new combined fee for the manual submission of both state and federal criminal
history background check, in connection with an application for a license will
be $105.25.
